If you’re like most seniors out there, you know how important it is to stay active and keep your body moving on a daily basis. That’s why our Senior Fitness programs are challenging men and women across our community with exciting exercises that can be tailored to your unique athletic ability.

Zumba Cardio Dance

With Leigh Hamilton! A mix of fun, high energy dance moves and easy to follow line dances to get your body moving and heart pumping!

Cardio Fit 

With Emma Skelton! A low impact, higher intensity cardio workout that incorporates 30 minutes of retro style aerobics with weights and core strengthening exercises.

Line Dancing

With Leigh Hamilton! Want to get some cardio and have fun doing it? Dancing is a great way to stay fit and agile. Join us as we learn and practice line dancing routines.

Silver Sneakers®

With Jane Pratt and Sandy Lane! Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers® ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Tai Chi

With Michael Moore! Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that helps maintain strength, flexibility and balance. It is also described as 'meditation in motion'. There is evidence to show that engaging in this ancient Chinese practice has many health benefits including decreased stress, better sleep, improved heart health and cognitive improvements.


With Laureen Haviland! Finding a little sliver of tranquility and stillness in your everyday life is just one of the small blissful benefits created with a steady yoga practice. This practice not only strengthens the body by developing flexibility and defining muscle tone, but it also allows the mind to calm by releasing stress and alleviating tension. This class is for ALL levels and focuses on your individual needs, honoring the body, and preventing injury through a steady flow.

Balance and Flexibility

Good balance, along with muscle strength and flexibility, helps keep you fit at any age. Working on muscles that support balance adds stability to help reduce risk of falling. Flexibility is important to reduce muscle tear risks and aching muscles – in addition to maintaining a healthy posture and easier spinal twisting. This class is specifically designed for balance and flexibility improvement, and utilizes various tools (straps, blocks, balls, chairs) that assist in both standing and seated exercises (no lying on the floor). With focus on joint movement, stability, and blood flow, exercises are controlled (not aerobic), for optimum balance improvement and increased muscle strength.


With Courtney Schroyer! Best be described as a low-to-medium intensity level class that will challenge you by using equipment to improve strength and cardio fitness. Balance and core exercises will also be included in this great workout program!
