The purpose of the Challenger Flag Football League is to provide an opportunity for youth, teens and young adults who have a disability to experience participation in an organized Flag Football League. The Challenger Flag Football League is a direct result of the willingness of the Carolina Panthers Professional Football Organization to partner with: The City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department, The Arc of Greensboro and Proehlific Park to provide a flag football and cheerleading program to participants who have disabilities.  It gives its participants the opportunity to improve sportsmanship, experience teamwork, and enjoy football and cheerleading.  It is the desire of all four organizations to provide this inclusive opportunity to members of our community."We are blessed to be able to provide this fun-filled experience for kids with special needs," said Ricky Proehl, founder of Proehlific Park, and a former NFL star. "Of course, I’m partial to football, so I’m doubly excited about this new team, and looking forward to helping the kids learn how to work together for a common goal."
