What is the difference between Proehlific Park Summer Camps and Summer Blast? Proehlific Park offers sport specific camps throughout the summer, most of these camps will run for a week long Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm (there are some exceptions to this that will run on a different schedule...ie. in the afternoons or evening).
Proehlific Park Summer Blast is an all day program for children throughout the summer. Summer Care will begin at 7:30am every morning starting in June. Proehlific Park Summer Care Kids are well supervised by experienced and trained 'Coaches.' Children enjoy a low student/coach ratio and are placed with others of similar age. All children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of age appropriate activities including; basketball, soccer, kickball, arts & crafts, air hockey, ping pong, water play, relay races, moon bounces and MUCH MORE.
Can I purchase summer care by the week? Yes!
What does After School care look like for the 2012-2013 school year? After School care is held from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday during the school year. All school breaks, teacher work days and holidays will have additional programming and costs. After school care will include 30 minutes of organized homework huddle with additional time for homework if the child wants to continue working and 30 minutes of snack time. How much are Memberships? Proehlific Park offers a variety of membership levels. See the Membership Section of the website for more information. We also offer Daily Rates, if you just need to use the facility for a day or two. All of the 'Daily Rate' info and pricing can be found here.
What is included in Memberships? Members will have access to all areas of the Park, both indoors and outdoors. Members enjoy team and open play opportunities. Visit our Membership page to find out more about the different memberships and how we can best serve you.
How big is the complex and what is in it? Overall, the complex consists of almost 22 acres. The indoor facility is 82,000 square feet which includes an indoor turf field, 3 basketball courts, an academic center, a Proehlific Sport Performance Training Room, mezzanine viewing and the Proehlific Park Adult Fitness Center! Outside Proehlific Park has 3 baseball/softball fields, 3 multi-purpose fields, playground and a concession stand. See the Facilities Section on the website for some great pictures!
What sports and type of teams does Proehlific Park have? Proehlific Park offers a wide variety of sports and sport related programs for all ages. We currently have programs in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Proehlific Sport Performance, Volleyball and Wrestling.
What travel teams do you have and do I need to be a member to play on a team? Yes, you will need to be a member of Proehlific Park to play travel ball for any Proehlific P.O.W.E.R. team. Ultimately, the interest of our members will determine which sports we have. This interest and demand will also determine which travel teams will represent Proehlific Park as well as the number of teams we have for any given sport. Our goal is to offer every child who is interested, the opportunity to play on a travel team. The number of kids trying out for any given sport and availability of paid coaches and volunteers will determine how many teams we have.
Will you have recreation or intramural leagues for members not playing on travel teams? Yes, all members and non-members, for an additional fee, will have the opportunity to play in leagues as well as participate in special events and tournaments such as free throw contests, home run derbies, superstars competition, etc. Check our sport specific pages for more information about clinics and leagues that are offered in each sport.
Can you use the Park if you are not a member? Yes, non-members can use the park on a daily basis. Non-members can pay a daily fee during our regular business hours (from 6:00am to 9:00pm) to use our facilities. Day pass pricing varies during school breaks, holidays and teacher work days.
